After closing we will be checking in to see that everything is going okay and if there are any referrals that we can offer you for anyone from painters, decorators, handyman to accountants and financial advisers. What you need to do now is two things:
First, keep an eye on your mail for your original copy of your filed deed. This should come to you from the county courthouse and is important to keep in your personal records.
Second, which doesn’t have to be done immediately, is to file for Homestead Exemption if this home is your primary residence. You will also receive reminders from the Terrace 24 Realty towards the beginning of next year to make sure you don’t miss the deadline.
